Have been trying to find you, and have had to join this egroup!! Sad news: Bill Astbury rang me yesterday to say Valerie died of a heart attack last Friday, after a long period of immobilistation from Parkinson's. The funeral's in Leeds on Tuesday. Have spoken to a number of people from those days, and a gathering of the old stagers seems likely. I know you're rather a long way away, but thought you would want to know.

Hope you are enjoying Bulgaria. I shall use your language tips if I ever go that way!
